The UPick Vegetable Farm

The UPick Vegetable Farm is located on 100 acres of land on Tucker Valley Road, Chaguaramas, and is the first of its kind in Trinidad.

It is exactly what its name suggests.

A UPick Farm where you can go and pick your own produce yourself. The UPick Farm offers a range of vegetables, such as tomato, chilli peppers, corn, onion, and eggplant (melongene).

What I like most about this farm is that it affords you the opportunity to walk through the fields and greenhouses with a trolley, to select and pick the produce with ease and comfort as opposed to the early Sunday morning rush to the central market to get quality produce. Here at UPick Farm, you do not have to sift through baskets of soft rotten vegetables. The baskets are filled with healthy vegetables and fruits.

Make it a fun outing by inviting family members, your significant other or a group of friends to come along and experience a farm like no other in Trinidad.


Also located on the property is a fruit and vegetable mart which offers both local and foreign crops for purchase. Oranges, watermelon, avocados, sweet potatoes, apples, grapes, herbs and spices are just a few of the items available.


For those looking for a more enlightening experience, a guided tour can be arranged with one of the farm managers whose education and experience provide for an insightful interaction.The Tour includes a tractor ride through the farm followed by lunch under an inviting bamboo canopy.


The farm is located off the Tucker Valley main road. There is a huge sign which you cannot miss. It opens Tuesday to Saturday 7:00 am to 2:00 pm and Sundays 9:00 am to 2:00 pm. Sufficient parking is also available.
